The Center for Information Security Awareness was created by a group of leading security experts and academics to improve awareness of the threats of identity theft, cybercrime and poor data management to individuals, the workplace and the nation.
The goal of The Center is to help establish standards, benchmarks, and effective options for security awareness training, as well as to explore means by which emerging technologies can assist in improving security education, awareness and retention on the part of consumers, employees and law enforcement.
Founded by identity theft, financial fraud and cyber crime experts, the Center is supported by a Board of Advisors and is currently focused on creating cost-effective and meaningful resources designed to make security awareness more accessible and engaging to all citizens.
